The annual general shareholders' meeting of OJSC Samaraenergo took place on 11 June 2010. The shareholders approved the annual report and annual accounting report of the Company, took a decision regarding change to the Statute of the Company and discussed the issue of paying dividends.

26.01.2010 OJSC Samraenergo representatives held meeting with Samara Samaravodokanal municipal unitary enterprise, the management of which guaranteed debt repayment before 05 February 2010. In view of this, on26.01.2010 at 2:00 pm the electric power supply was resumed to all Samaravodokanal duplicate feeders, and OJSC Samaraenergo rescheduled the cutoff that was initially planned on29.01.2010 for8.02.2010 in the event of failure to fulfill guarantees and to repay the debt. - 18.01.2010

The OJSC Arena Exchange has compiled a league table of power trading participants in 2009. OJSC Samaraenergo took 8th place in the «Buyer» category. In total 121 energy supply and energy utility companies were listed. The main criterion for evaluating participants was the index of maximum amount of energy purchase transactions.
