Samaraenergo Energy and Electrification Open Joint Stock Company is the biggest power selling company in Samara Region, which according to the RF Government Resolution #530 dated 31.08.2006 first in Samara Region got the status of warranted supplier of electric power.
Samaraenergo JSC supplies electric power to the consumers on territory of 53 thousand km2, performs uninterrupted supply of electric power to 99% of the consumers of Samara Region. The largest consumers of Samaraenergo are the enterprises of chemical, petrochemical, metallurgic, automobile and construction industries.
Today Samaraenergo continues its activity after the reorganization of the industry (minutes #19 dated September 30, 2005 of extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of Samaraenergo) and making a record in the Uniform State Register of Legal Entities on April 28, 2006.
The general activity of Samaraenergo is electric power purchasing on the Wholesale Market and electric power selling on the Retail Market of Samara Region according to energy supply and purchase and sale contracts.
Samaraenergo realizes the electric energy supply in Samara Region to juridical and individual persons. There are 9 thousand enterprises and 500 thousand citizens of Samara Region among the consumers of Samaraenergo. Electric power is supplied to all of the consumers by virtue of the treaty, which provides liability to settle the invoice for the electricity every month.
Samaraenergo as energy selling company and warranted supplier performs its activity on the wholesale and retail markets of electric power. The territory of Samaraenergo service covers all the districts and towns of Samara Region. There are 20 branches of Samaraenergo on the territory of the government: Samara,Togliatti, Zhigulevsk, Syzran, Otradny, Novokuybyshevsk, Chapaevsk, Bezenchuk, Neftegorsk, Kinel, Pokhvistnevo, Krasny Yar, Krasnoarmeisk, Klyavlino, B. Glushitsa, Borskoie, Privolzhsky, Chelno-Vershiny, Sergievsk, Koshki.
