Operating Results for First Quarter of 2010
The productive supply of electric power by OJSC Samaraenergo to consumers of the Samara Region in the first quarter of 2010 was 3,703,556,592 kWh.
In comparison with the similar period of the last year the consumption of electric power by customers of OJSC Samaraenergo has decreased by 5.42% or by 212.15 million kWh. A decline in the amount of productive supply of OJSC Samaraenergo took place due to a decrease in the amount of business conducted by industrial enterprises and due to the transfer by OJSC Power Supply Company of Tolyatti and OJSC Siburenergomanagement to the New Wholesale Electric Energy/Power Market. At the same time productive supply to companies and organizations financed from budgets at all levels has increased by 12.52% and to the population by 42.59% as a result of the cessation of activity of the Production Association of Public Services of Tolyatti municipal unitary enterprise as a guaranteed supply company, and because of the finalization of direct contracts between its contractors and OJSC Samaraenergo.
Sales of electric power in the first quarter of 2010 came to 93.1%, which resulted in an increase of accounts receivable. As of
